This role will work side by side with our part-time Program Manager to ensure the highest quality of care and operational excellence within our assisted living program. We are seeking an organized, collaborative leader who thrives in a team environment and can partner closely with an existing manager to support residents, staff, and overall program success.
Hours:
- This position will work part-time during our standard business hours (9am-5pm Mon-Fri). As the Program Manager, you will also be responsible for sharing the on-call responsibility, as needed, when staffing shortages arise.
Job Description:
- Job Title: Program Manager.
- Reports To: Residential Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and follow up with all parties involved in residents’ care (phone, care conferences, email)
- Manage residents’ schedules and weekly appointments
- Supervise and support in-home staff
- Train and guide team members in areas such as personal care, aging support, and managing challenging behaviors
- Ensure staff attend all required and ongoing training; coordinate certification updates
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures
- Ensure staff complete assigned duties effectively and on time
- Lead team meetings with staff and residents as appropriate
- Oversee disciplinary and grievance processes in alignment with agency policy and regulatory requirements
- Identify and report signs of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation according to protocol
- Promote person-centered care that respects each resident’s individuality
- Oversee fiscal management of the home, including resident funds
- Ensure the home environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with regulations
- Manage staff schedules and provide regular on-call coverage
- Provide direct care support as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Coordinator

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and ability to implement state and federal regulations
- At least one year of management experience in personal care services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
