This position works with individuals who are developing skills in emotional regulation, communication, and daily routines. As a part of that process, you may encounter behaviors such as raised voices, strong language, boundary-testing, or occasional physical actions when working with these clients.
We view these moments as opportunities for teaching and support. You'll be trained in how to de-escalate situations, reinforce positive behaviors, and help individuals build safer, more effective ways to communicate.

- Searching for a Personal Care Worker to work with our clients in River Falls, WI.
- Schedule: We work to fill opening on morning, evening and/or overnight shifts based upon our clients' needs. For further scheduling details, contact our Human Resources department today! We will work with you to find the right scheduling fit based upon your availability.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures residents' needs, self-expression, and goals.
- Oversee residents and take care of their needs.
- Assist with or perform personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, etc.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including food preparation and cooking.
- Transport client to activities and medical appointments.
- Work well with a variety of individuals, learning habitats and behaviors. Treat people with respect.
We provide paid training to make sure you are prepared to perform the duties of your position.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Pass a background check.
- Have proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid US driver's license.
- Must be dependable, caring, and a team player.
