Job Details:
- Searching for a Personal Care Worker to work with one of our many clients in New Richmond, WI.
- Schedule: Morning, Evening and Overnight shifts available (occasional weekend shifts may be required, depending on client needs).
- Schedules vary based upon client's needs; our Human Resources team will work with you to find the right scheduling fit based on your availability.
What You’ll Do:
As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll provide hands-on support while creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment for the people we serve. Your responsibilities may include:
- Creating a welcoming environment that supports clients’ individual needs, goals, and self-expression.
- Monitoring clients and providing support based on their individual needs.
- Assisting with or providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hair care, and oral hygiene.
- Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
- Providing transportation to activities and medical appointments.
- Building positive relationships with clients and learning their individual routines, preferences, behaviors, and communication styles.
- Treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
- Working collaboratively with coworkers, managers, and other members of the care team.
No prior caregiving experience? No problem. We provide paid training to help you feel confident and prepared to succeed in your role.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be dependable, caring, and a team player.
